FMIS CELEBRATES FLAG DAY

On December 17, 2018, all the students in Fakhir Mergasori International School, a SABIS^® PPP school in Kurdistan, celebrated Flag Day.

On the day, students came to school dressed in traditional Kurdish clothes. At school the students had their face painted with the flag of Kurdistan and sang the national anthem in honor of their flag.

The activity was organized to remind students of their history and culture. It also taught students about their flag, and the importance of a flag to a nation. “I felt proud seeing our flag waving high and being celebrated on this day,” said a student.
