FMIS Prefects Visited by the U.S. Consulate General

All the Head Prefects at Fakhir Mergasori International School, a SABIS^® PPP school in Kurdistan, were visited by the U.S. Consulate General of Erbil on February 9, 2018.

Grade 11 students met with the Consulate General, with the aim to learn and discuss educational and cultural exchange programs offered by the U.S. government, and U.S. universities.

 The purpose of this activity was to discuss educational and career paths in addition to checking all the opportunities offered by the U.S. government to Kurdish students. “It was very enlightening. We received lots of information regarding our future and the application process to colleges in the U.S.,” said a student.
