FMIS STUDENTS DISCOVER THE ERBIL CITADEL

On October 23, 2018, the SABIS Student Life Organization^®(SLO^®) department heads at Fakhir Mergasori International School, a SABIS^® PPP school in Kurdistan, traveled back in time as they discovered the historic Citadel of Erbil.

The students began their day at the citadel with a trip to the museum where they looked at the antiques their ancestors had used many years ago. Then, the students had the chance to wander around the Erbil Bazaar where they took many photos together.

The students were excited to see the citadel and visit the museum. They enjoyed the chance to learn more about Kurdish history, traditions, and how people lived in the past. The parents were very thankful to FMIS International School for having an educational trip for their children. “As a parent I would like to thank the SLO^® department for caring for our kids, and I think that such activities are very beneficial to them,” said a parent.
