FMIS Students Visit the Erbil International Equestrian Club

Grade 7 students at Fakhir Mergasori International School, a SABIS^® PPP school in Kurdistan, visit the Erbil International Equestrian Club for a day of horse riding on January 21, 2017.

Students met at the school to take the busses to the equestrian club early in the morning. Once the students arrived the horses were ready and waiting to go for a ride. After two hours of riding, the students took a tour of the stables and learned more about horses. At the end, the students went to the cafeteria to have a snack before riding the bus back to school.

The purpose of this activity was for students to enjoy an outdoor activity with one another and participate in a healthy sport. “This trip was perfect, I wish we could visit the club every weekend,” said a student. To visit the gallery of the event, please click here.
