Grade 1 Students Participate in an End-of-Term Outing

Fakhir Mergasori International School concluded its first term with an off-campus picnic and a fun-filled agenda of activities on Saturday, November 19, 2011. The day started at 9:30 a.m. when FMIS 1st grade students visited Sami Abdulrahman Park.

FMIS teachers organized games and activities, such as hide-and-seek and races, which the students thoroughly enjoyed. In an enthusiastic mood and happy to have successfully completed their term at FMIS, students sang songs and danced during the activity.

"It was fun and exciting for the students who had a chance to engage with their friends, play games, and eat tasty food," commented a FMIS staff member who chaperoned the trip. The trip was not only fun, but educational for students too. Another FMIS staff member explained, "At the end of the activity, students were advised to throw away their garbage and to respect the environment as well as to take better care of it."

The teachers played a big part in making sure the outing was a success. "Teachers were very cooperative. They helped supervise the activities and also participated in several of them," comment a FMIS staff member.

The end-of-term outing to the Sami Abdulrahman Park is one of the many activities coordinated by Fakhir Mergasori International School.
