Grades 5-9 Celebrate Halloween

Students in grades 5-9 at Fakhir Mergasori International School (FMIS), a SABIS^® PPP school, celebrated Halloween on October 31, 2015.

When the students arrived at 11:00 a.m. at FMIS, they were all wearing scary costumes and frightening makeup. Some of them also wore fearful masks. At first, the students decorated the school with the items they had prepared. Then, the food was put on the table and at 12:00 p.m. the party started.

There was music, dancing, and games such as apple catching, twister, popping balloons, and coloring fruits and pumpkins.  After being engaged in such activities, the students ate. They cleaned up and went home at 4:00 p.m.

Such an activity was held as a way to learn about and enjoy Halloween. The students also got the chance to strengthen their relationships with their friends.
