SLO® Welcomes and Supports New Students
New students in grades 1-5 at Fakhir Mergasori International School (FMIS), a SABIS® PPP school, were welcomed and supported by the SABIS Student Life Organization® (SLO®) from October 19-21, 2015.
To start off the event on the right foot, head prefects of SLO® along with seniors explained to the new students what SLO® is all about. The head prefects showed them how they should behave to be a part of SLO® and how one day they will take part in SLO®. The new students were also assigned peer tutors for English, math, and science, with the academic prefects being their tutors. At the end of the activity the head prefects also distributed welcome certificates to all the students.
The activity was held to welcome and inform new students about FMIS. Also, it was a great opportunity for them to understand the rules and the academic structure of the school. The new students were very pleased to make new friends and they really appreciated the welcome certificates. The head prefects and the seniors were also really proud of themselves for explaining and teaching the new students the rules and information about their school.
